Established in 2003.
Located in the former Brussberg's Furniture and Rex/Ellis Theatre location, La Casa Grande was founded in August 2003. The renovations began in 2001 to convert the department store interior to a festive, warm and inviting Mexican restaurant. One area behind the building was converted into an outdoor patio that has been host to numerous celebrations and events. The accompanying banquet hall was opened in September 2005 and hosts events for up to 300 guests. Historic painted advertisements on the building exterior have been restored for community members to enjoy and reminisce, as well as the original brick walls inside and out. The rich look of the building accentuates its long history and invites many to consider as a venue for their next event.
La Casa Grande is proud to serve Beloit and surrounding areas with fine Mexican cuisine at an affordable price. We are conveniently located in the downtown area made lively by a number of special events and occasions throughout each year.
